Just wanted to share a praise. We were just given permission from HCA Hospital to come to their warehouse and take all their extra medical supplies!
This past Tuesday, Brent Armstrong and I went to the warehouse and found 12 fully stocked pallets of supplies. We had no idea it would be so much. We found everything from new breast pumps still in the boxes to a full case of thermometers. We also found hundreds of sutures for wound repair. A few days later I received an email from Shane McBride in Zambia asking for more sutures. God has blessed us so much with these resources! They will be taken to both Uganda and Zambia to help heal His people. Most importantly, we will use this blessing to spread His Gospel.

To the right is a front view of a room at the guest house that we will be staying in. I CAN'T WAIT.
An old man once told me. "Dear Lord, where you lead, I will follow. What you feed, I will swallow." This will be a different experience for some, but also a life changing one as well. God spoke to each and everyone of you for a reason.

Just spoke with Shane McBribe about where we will be staying while in Kitwe. Here's what he said.
If want to go ahead and start getting your Passport and Vaccs. feel free. This will give you time to make any corrections needed and also decide which vaccs you want.
"The Shamabinga, which is two doors down is around $35 per person per night, breakfast included…
The guest house is very nice for Zambian standards. It's safe, clean, and the people who run it have spent time in America, so they know how to host American guests. Breakfast is served in the rooms every morning, and it's good. The landscaping is also very nice. They have a generator and a bore hole for water. Also, they have guard dogs in addition to their 2 night time security guards. I feel completely safe there, and so will the ladies :)"
I aslo mentioned the possibility of going on a safari and he said the close safari, NSOBE, will be $50 per person (gets you in the park, into the snake house, on the game drive, and includes a meal)

Our first informational meeting will be held on April 15, 2012 after the second serive in the Fireside room at First Baptist McKinney. We will be discussing topics from total cost of trip, immunizations, lodging, food, and what we will encounter in Zambia. God has spoken to all your hearts and I'm glad you've listened. Attending this meeting in no way means that you are committed to going. Please think about any questions you may have. Bring anyone with you that may also have questions about what we will doing for the people in Kitwe, Zambia.
For any questions prior to the meeting you can email me @ flee231313@yahoo.com
Thanks again and God bless.
